The Mid Peninsula in the San Francisco Bay Area is home to many recreational areas. These areas provide tons of hiking and I took full advantage when I arrived to the Peninsula in 2012. These photos are from a hike and are from a film camera. I used Kodak PORTRA 35mm film for these photos.
Portola Redwoods State Park in California is a great place to go for hiking and photo taking, of course. The park is home to a redwood tree forest. The canopy the forest provides keeps the ground cool even during Summer months. These photos are from when I visited the park in November of 2013. I shot these with my Olympus OM-1 analog camera using Kodak PORTRA 35mm color film. You can find more info about the park by clicking here.
Using film to create film photos was a favorite pastime of mine. These photos are taken in Pacifica, California shortly after I moved to San Mateo. I used black and white film loaded in my Canon A2 camera. This might have been my second ever visit to Pacifica. Anyway, it was my favorite spot.
