Here’s a post I made, just because I could. These photos don’t have much to do with each other other than that they were on the same roll of film. The first photo is somewhere in Utah shot from my moving car with my Canon SureShot. The other is Pacifica, California from an overlook heading into the city. The film used was Kodak PORTRA 35mm color.
The Santa Cruz boardwalk is a great place for candid photos using 35mm film. These photos were are created using an Olympus OM-1 camera with Kodak PORTRA 35mm film. The analog film and camera captured the action almost perfectly. The colors really pop in these photos and I was pleased with the results. There’s nothing better than a boardwalk, sun, beach, and film photography!
Devils Tower in Wyoming is a perfect place to shoot 35mm film photos. Surrounded by warm grasses and fur trees, Devils Tower makes for some very warm and almost glowing film photos. Devils Tower is very sacred to Native Americans and is well preserved to this day. Shooting with Kodak PORTRA 35mm color film, my go to film, is like taking a step back in time.
