The Mid Peninsula in the San Francisco Bay Area is home to many recreational areas. These areas provide tons of hiking and I took full advantage when I arrived to the Peninsula in 2012. These photos are from a hike and are from a film camera. I used Kodak PORTRA 35mm film for these photos.

The San Francisco Bay Peninsula offers many hiking opportunities. There are several conservation areas that has miles and miles of trails. Wilderness and hiking also means photo opportunities. I hiked many times while living in San Mateo and here are some highlights from one such hike in 2014.
Ryder Park in San Mateo, California is a unique park is it is located on an piece of land that was once used as a landfill. Many evenings while living in San Mateo I visited the park for a walk on Bay bicycle path. The park is located next the San Francisco Bay and offers beautiful views of the Bay. The air traffic for San Francisco International Airport, SFO, flies directly over the Bay. The planes make for some great photos and here is one of my favorites from Ryder Park.
